Abstract
- In the paper, the mathematical carbide coating growth model was established on the basis of unsteady diffusion theory and regular solution sub-lattice theory. Analysis of the relation between the thickness of the vanadium-carbide layer and immersion time, salt bath temperature and type of substrate was conducted. Compared with the experimental results, this method proved very successful.
