Galileo’s Writings on Relativity and Infinities

Galileo postulated the main principle of Einstein’s theory of relativity, namely that the laws of nature are unique and should only be stated once for any frame of reference moving at a constant speed along a straight line. In other words, that the generic laws of physics are independent of the particular speed and direction of the frame of reference of the observing physicist.
