Abstract

Measurements of emission factors of harmful compounds in the exhaust gases of aircraft engines take place during stationary engine tests. Linking the values of emission factors obtained during such tests with the operational parameters of aircraft engines allows to estimate the emission of harmful compounds during the flight of the aircraft. The problem is to determine the impact of changes in flight altitude on the performance of aircraft engines in terms of emission of harmful compounds in the exhaust. Therefore, it is necessary to correct the developed method for determining emissions during the flight of an aircraft. The following article presents the method of estimating the emissions during the flight of the aircraft, taking into account the impact of changes in flight altitude on engine performance parameters, and thus on the emission values of harmful compounds during the flight. In order to carry out the tests, the flight data of the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft were used.
