Abstract

The variation of the apparent creep activation energy as a function of the state of grain boundaries is investigated in the deformation of molybdenum in the presence of diffusion fluxes of nickel at the grain boundaries. It is shown that this energy varies in the same way as in the plastic deformation of classical superplastic materials.
