Abstract
- Acyllactam groups and aromatic polyimides were grafted to the surface of single walled carbon nanotubes. The modified nanotubes were characterized by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, thermogravimetric analysis, and elemental analysis. It was shown that the nanotubes with grafted acyllactam groups or polyimide macromolecules form homogeneous stable in time dispersions in a melt of e-caprolactam.
