Toda Solitons and the Mössbauer Effect

In this paper we investigate anharmonic lattices that support the formation and propagation of Toda solitons along their chains. The main objective is to examine the influence of Toda solitons (TS) on the Mossbauer emission of gamma photons. Furthermore we conclude that it can be expected that the emission of hard gamma rays may be instrumental in producing narrow Toda solitons even at low temperatures. A manifestation of this phenomenon could be through an anomalous increase of the coefficient of thermal conductivity.
