Operations Research Approach to the Reciprocal Impact of Transportation and Land Use

Many transportation-land use impact studies of the past have dealt with the micro-details without sufficient reference or understanding of the broader and often more significant influences. It is suggested that the application of operations research techniques may be the best way of determining these significant interactions in our complex society.
