Comminuted intra-articular distal humeral fractures present a challenge, particularly in patients with poor bone quality. Fixation and total arthroplasty are established options for primary treatment options. Elbow hemiarthroplasty is an emerging alternative that offers promising early results with some possible advantages over both techniques.
