Abstract
- A novel methodology for designing and applying artificial magnetic conductor (AMC) through controlling pattern’s surface impedance instead of shape is proposed and analyzed. A wideband metamaterial radar absorber applying this methodology is designed and verified numerically. Simulation results indicate this methodology can be used to widen absorption bandwidth for metamaterial radar absorbers.
