The basic features of thermodynamics

More than 100 years ago a Swedish schoolteacher Nils Engelbrektsson could theoretically derive the thermodynamic equation of state, which is universally valid. His colleague, a Swedish schoolteacher Karl Franzen had experimentally verified his inferences and could prove their validity.
