The article analyzes the main milestones in the life and work of the publicist, translator, publisher Beksultan Batyrkhan, a prominent figure of the Ingush literary diaspora in Turkey. Almost the entire body of his work is concentrated in the Caucasian magazines of Ankara and Istanbul - "Kafkasya" ("Caucasus") and "Kuzey Kafkasya" ("North Caucasus"), published in the 1960s and 1970s. The legacy of B. Batyrkhan is diverse in theme and genre and includes both his own works, essays, articles, literary works, as well as translations of fiction, historical literature, folklore texts of various peoples of the Caucasus. As an author and translator, B. Batyrkhan, as well as the entire Caucasian diaspora, is characterized by the concentration on the most important image ��� the image of the Caucasus, to which his thoughts and experiences are addressed. His work can rightfully be regarded as a vivid example of Caucasian-oriented, Caucasian-centric reflection.
