Abstract
- Predator traps constructed of several layers of corrugated fiberboard effectively substituted for natural overwintering sites for predators in pear orchards. Deraeocoris brevis (Uhler), Hemerobius ovalis Carpenter, and spiders were the major predators taken from the traps. The traps also offer an inexpensive means of collecting and storing overwintering predators.
