Abstract

The Ni-cermet anode-supported micro-tubular SOFC based on La0.6Sr0.4Co0.2Fe0.8O3-d cathode shows high power density below 650{degree sign}C. Current collecting appears to a major obstacle towards the integration of these single cells in a cube-shaped cell bundle, which can finally lead to a higher volumetric power density. This study aims to develop and modify for high performance current collectors for the compact and high power SOFC bundles. Feasibility of the La0.6Sr0.4Co0.2Fe0.8O3-d based oxides was then investigated. The well-dispersed Ag particles were introduced to give an enhanced electron path and a lowed interfacial resistance.
