David Ian Rabey, Theatre, Time and Temporality: Melting Clocks and Snapped Elastics

Rabey’s book displays an impressive erudition and offers multiple contributions to the ways in which we might think about time, performance, and the relationships between the two. Like its subject, the book is sometimes disjointed and dissipative, but it is nonetheless a strong and enjoyable addition to the field.
