The individualized learning programme assessed

I have described the self-learn programme at my London school in some detail in Foreign Language Learning, meeting individual needs . Subsequent to publication I found that I had, as a by-product of much larger scale research, a bank of data which would enable me to assess objectively the effects of access to self-study materials upon performance in French. It is apparent that the self-learn programme has been both motivating and effective.
