In the process of work, the electric power system of 110/35 kV is being investigated, during which it was necessary to select equipment - power transformers and wires of the cross-section of power lines so that they could withstand loads in normal and emergency modes. In addition to the choice of equipment, a manual calculation of the steady state of the system was made, as well as using the Rastr program. In the Rastr program, it was necessary to calculate the maximum and minimum modes. An important section is the calculation of asymmetric short-circuit currents, where it was necessary to calculate currents and voltages for a two-phase short circuit to the ground at the end of the overhead line 2. Vector diagrams of currents and voltages for this type of short circuit were also built. In addition, the current for a two-phase short circuit was calculated in the EMTP program. Dynamic stability analysis of the system is possible using the Dymola program. An additional task to increase the dynamic stability was parallel electric braking, with the help of which it was possible to increase the limit time for disconnecting the line.
