Abstract
- Integrative Oncology refers to the combining of traditional and complementary medicine with conventional cancer healthcare. This report presents the results of a national Australian cross-sectional survey of healthcare organisations providing cancer services in 2016, focus group interviews with cancer survivors of Chinese, Vietnamese, Arabic and Anglo-European Australian backgrounds, and a community survey of cancer survivors. The purpose was to examine integrative oncology service provision across Australia, and identify barriers and facilitators to integrative oncology. The project was led by NICM at Western Sydney University, in partnership with South West Sydney Local Health District and Oncology Massage Ltd, a registered charity.
