Chitin and chitosan composites for wearable electronics and energy storage devices

Chitin and chitosan biopolymers are used in daily life products and play crucial roles in biomedical applications and electronics. Because they are widely available in nature and low-cost, chitin polysaccharides have gained importance in all applications which are useful for mankind. We briefly explain the improvements in the field of electronics by using the chitin and chitosan composites with the help of recent literature. This chapter explains the importance of chitin and its derivatives in flexible and wearable electronics and energy storage devices.
