Abstract
- We describe the design, construction and use of a new swept frequency pulsed magnetic resonance spectrometer that is particularly suitable for measurements of NMR in magnetically ordered materials but has also been used for ESR, NQR and conventional NMR. It includes computer control, digital pulse generation, measurements over the range 10-1000 MHz in one sweep, and calibration of signal and pulse power. The spectrometer can also be used to track the change of the NMR frequency of a sample, e.g., as a function of temperature.
