Abstract
- This paper proposes an improved structure for none-isolated Multi-Input (MI) high step-up dc-dc converters. The bidirectional power flow operation can also be provided for the proposed topology. Unlike most of none-isolated none-coupled inductor based topologies, the proposed topology can produce high voltage gains with low voltage stress on the switches/diodes. Due to the simple structure of proposed topology, the control strategy and consequently the production of switching signals is very straightforward. Different operational modes of proposed topology have been introduced and illustrated. Then, steady-state analysis have been investigated. Finally, to confirm the proposed concepts, the topology has been modeled and simulated in PSCAD/EMTDC software. Simulation results validate the proper performance of proposed topology.
