Abstract
- This study explores the effects of interpolated testing and writing self-explanations on self-caught mind wandering and knowledge gain during a learning task. Participants watch a 15-minute video about the human nervous system and are divided into three groups: control, interpolated testing, and self-explanation. Mind wandering frequency and knowledge gain are measured and compared across the groups.
