Abstract
- Edge computing (EC) uses edge devices to process data in real-time. Because it is closer to the data source, edge computing has low latency and high efficiency. Edge computing can quickly process the massive data generated in the smart grid and reduce the calculation and time costs of the smart grid. However, the communication process of edge devices in the smart grid is easily attacked by attackers, leading to leakage and tampering of keys. In order to protect the communication security of the edge computing infrastructure in the smart grid environment, this paper proposes an anonymous access control scheme based on ECC. This solution has lower computing and communication costs, and will not increase the manufacturing cost of edge devices. In terms of security, the solution in this paper implements secure and anonymous mutual authentication, and can resist a variety of malicious attacks including man-in-the-middle attacks and replay attacks. Compared with other smart grid edge computing solutions, the solution in this paper realizes the identification of edge devices in 14.4593 ms, and has advantages in security and reliability.
