ChemInform Abstract: Asymmetric Synthesis of δ-Chloro-β-amino-N-sulfinyl Imidates as Versatile Chiral Building Blocks for the Synthesis of 2,3-Disubstituted Piperidines

New β-amino-δ-chloro carboximidates bearing a chiral sulfoxide auxiliary are prepared and used as building blocks for the synthesis of enantio- and diastereomeric pure 2,3-disubstituted piperidines (similar reactions based on the minor diastereomer are not shown).
