Abstract

Results are provided for a theoretical and experimental study of the features of low-temperature interrupted yield of structural alloys taking account of loading system stiffness, deformation rate, and loading regime. Associated thermal effects are evaluated and criteria are considered for heat loss and the plastic stability of deformation.
