Abstract
- The finite analytic numerical method (FAM) is an efficient method for solving two-dimensional electrochemical diffusion problems on microelectrodes. Its basic idea is the incorporation of the analytic solutions of local small elements in the numerical solution of partial differential equations. In this paper, we present a detailed introduction of the finite analytic solution and an overview of the incorporation of the finite analytic solution in the numerical simulation and the application of FAM in different electrochemical problems.
