Abstract
- 1. The fatigue strength of composite AD33-V, with a volume content of boron fibers of 50%, is directly proportional to the ultimate strength. The dependence of the endurance of the material on ultimate strength is expressed by a power law. 2. The relations and parameter values presented here can be used in strength calculations for structures and to determine the endurance of other composites with different characteristics and strength parameters after minimal empirical checking. 3. With large values of the exponents in (5), the expressions in the parentheses should be calculated with a high degree of accuracy in order to obtain reliable values of endurance.
