Abstract

This paper provides a summary of biological data on Medicago lupulina L. (black medick). A widespread weed throughout the temperate and subtropical regions of the world, it is naturalized across southern Canada. Black medick occurs in a variety of habitats including pastures, lawns, riverbanks and disturbed areas. It can be controlled by the use of several common herbicides.
