Abstract
- We read with interest the findings of Ooi and Wong (1) in their recent article on gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) in twin pregnancy. Whereas a major goal of GDM management in singleton pregnancies is to reduce fetal overgrowth, twin pregnancies are inherently associated with restricted fetal growth and uncommonly reach full-term gestation. Therefore, it is important to evaluate birth weight outcomes for GDM in twin pregnancy.
