Abstract

This article presents the synthesis and the real tests of an actuator fault diagnosis method applied to a winding process. Based on the variation, during operating conditions, of the winding reels radius, a linear time varying model is considered to describe the dynamic behavior of this system. A stochastic detection filter is defined in order to detect and isolate actuator faults. The implementation to the process is carried out with a DSP dSpace board interfaced with Matlab/Simulink.
