Abstract
- Concerning the difficulties of parameter tuning and poor anti-interference performance in the traditional proportional plus derivative virtual inertia control (PDVIC), this paper presents an improved frequency response control scheme of directly-driven wind turbine with permanent magnet synchronous generator (D-PMSG) based on the active disturbance rejection control (ADRC). The algorithm realizes the power grid disturbance estimation and compensation by using the extended state observer (ESO) to reject the disturbance. With the introduction of the capacity factor of wind turbines, the D-PMSG could provide frequency support for the power system according to their abilities. Compared with PDVIC, this method has better adaptability and robustness. Simulation results confirmed the validity and feasibility of the virtual inertia control based on the ADRC.
