Abstract

This paper presents three techniques of maximizing power point tracking (MPPT) using incremental conductance, perturbation and observation (P&O), and fuzzy logic controller for photovoltaic systems under environmental conditions. The objective of this study is to compare the performance between these methods, the simulation results obtained are developed under MATLAB/Simulink software. All three methods are used with a DC/DC modified CUK converter “Mcuk”, a photovoltaic system including a solar panel, and a resistive load.
