Abstract
- Because the instrument response in highly deviated wells and horizontal wells is the three-dimensional numerical calculation, its environmental impact factors is very complicated. Firstly, this paper analyzes the influencing factors of induction logging responses in horizontal wells, covering the geological factors and instrumental observation factors. Secondly, a three-layer dual induction logging scenario in horizontal wells is set up with the aid of the multi-physics simulation software COMSOL, then the logging response characteristics is provided with regard to the different environmental factor. Finally, the physical machanism between logging response and environmental factors is analyzed, laying a foundation for the rapid forward and inversion for dual-induction logging in the horizontal wells.
