Intensity measurements of the near-infrared and visible overtone bands of nitrous oxide

Abstract

The near-infrared and visible absorption spectrum of nitrous oxide 14Nz160 has been recorded by intracavity laser absorption spectroscopy from 11700 to 15000 cm-1. The absolute intensities of seven rotationally resolved overtone and combination bands are reported and discussed in relation to their vibrational assignment and compared with previous photoacoustic measurements.
