Abstract

Memory device is the important component in the electronic equipment. The electrical properties of three-terminal optoelectronic memory device can be regulated not only by the electrical operation but also by the light illumination. In this chapter, we firstly introduce the three-terminal optoelectronic memory device and the application on various electronic devices. Secondly, since the semiconductor layers or functional layers of three-terminal optoelectronic memory device are generally sensitive to the light which can change the electrical properties, the working mechanism will be described. Thirdly, the development and the representational work will be presented for three-terminal optoelectronic memory device. Finally, the flexible three-terminal optoelectronic memory devices will be also described.
