Local government is given help to prioritise public health schemes

Public health should be put at the top of local government agendas in England, as it provides good value for money, says the health think tank the King’s Fund. The charity has produced a set of resources to help councils prioritise public health interventions (www.kingsfund.org.uk/iph).
