Abstract

This prospective study is to evaluate the effectiveness of using local gentamicin and steroid drops as a new technique on the success rate of choanal atresia repair in children. The usage of local gentamicin and steroid drops postoperation seems to increase the success rate of posterior choanoplasty. It is a minimally invasive, easily tolerated by both the patients and the parents. It reduces the time of surgery and patients stay in the hospital and reduces the nasal secretion, crustation and adhesion. How to cite this article Al Qahtani B, Al Suliman Y.
