Ultrasonic spray pyrolysis deposited CTS thin film: Variation of thiourea concentration in the film

Abstract
- The CTS films were synthesized with automated, indigenous developed ultrasonic spray-pyrolysis (USP) by changing Sulphur concentration from 0.2 M to 0.35 M with the step of 0.5. The crystal structure, composition, surface analysis, UV characteristics of the CTS films are studied. Structural analysis confirms the formation of Cu2SnS3 tetragonal structure. Stoichiometric films are obtained with increase in S concentration. Films exhibited p type conductivity with energy band gap near to optimal value of 1.5 eV for thin film solar cell applications.
