Luminescent properties of YVO4:Eu3+ ceramic phosphors according to Li+ content

Abstract
- YVO4:Eu3+ ceramic is an excellent crystalline phosphor, which emits at wavelength λ = 580–740 nm. The study of ceramics with Li+ doping is interesting in terms of improving the optical and strength characteristics. Obtaining Li-doped YVO4:Eu3+ was carried out by hot uniaxial pressing. Qualitative analysis of the samples revealed an increase in the grain size of the structure from 5 to 7 µm. The invariance of the phase composition was revealed by x-ray phase analysis. Intensity increase of 1.8 times was observed for YVO4:Eu3+ with Li+ compared to the sample without Li-ion by luminescence analysis. The luminescence kinetics of YVO4:Eu3+ with and without Li+ remains unchanged. The strength characteristics are increased by adding Li+ to the host matrix.
