Abstract
- In terms of the high sidelobe level of circular ring array, a pattern synthesis method based on artificial neural network is presented. Under the constraint of circular ring array radius, a circular ring pattern synthesis model is built based on forward neural network firstly; then, a Bessel function is used as the excitation function, and a damped least squares method is used as trained algorithm. The circular ring array sidelobe level and beam direction can be controlled by the new method.
