ОСОБЕННОСТИ ВОССОЗДАНИЯ ХУДОЖЕСТВЕННОГО МИРА В ПЕРЕВОДЕ РАССКАЗА Э. ХЕМИНГУЭЯ «BIG TWO-HEARTED RIVER» НА РУССКИЙ ЯЗЫК

Данная статья посвящена проблеме художественного мира произведения и его воссоздания при переводе с английского языка на русский. В статье обосновывается применение термина «воссоздание произведения» как результат художественного перевода. Анализ рассказа Эрнеста Хемингуэя «Big TwoHearted River» позволил выделить основные слагаемые компоненты художественного мира данного произведения: персонаж, время, пространство, пейзаж, художественная деталь. Методом сравнительно-сопоставительного анализа исследуемого произведения и его русскоязычного перевода «На Биг-Ривер», выполненного О. Холмской, были изучены лингвостилистические и художественные особенности воссоздания мира произведения в переводе. Результаты анализа показали, что в целом переводчику удалось отразить мир исследуемого рассказа, однако ряд переводческих решений отрицательно повлиял на передачу отдельных художественно-эстетических, в частности экзистенциальных, идей американского писателя.
The article discusses issues of the literary artistic world and its reconstruction in translation from English into Russian. The article provides an explanation for the use of the term ‘reconstruction of a literary work’ as a result of translation. The analysis of the story ‘Big Two-Hearted River’ by Ernest Hemingway enabled the authors of the article to single out the main components of the artistic world, such as character, time, space, landscape, details. Applying comparative analysis to the study of the original text and its Russian translation ‘Na Big-River’ made by Olga Kholmskaia, the research looked into the linguistic and artistic peculiarities of the world reconstruction in the translation of the story, which made it possible to draw certain conclusions on the equivalence of the original world to the reconstructed one. Overall, the findings showed that the translator succeeded in the reconstruction of the artistic world in her translation, although a number of translator’s decisions had a negative impact on the articulation of certain aesthetic features, in particular, some existentialist ideas expressed by the American author.
