Abstract: We demonstrated the dehydrogenation behaviour of nanoconfined ammonia borane (AB) in Fe–MIL-53, a flexible metal–organic framework (MOF) by solid state thermolysis. We observed clean hydrogen release with fast kinetics at reduced temperatures.
