Forehead Lifting Approach and Techniques

This chapter sets out the subject of forehead lifting as a fundamental procedure in the mechanisms of face rejuvenation. An historical review of the evolution of the procedure and a general revision of the applied surgical anatomy, indications, and suggestions of the factors that condition the election of the diverse suspension approaches and techniques is done. Included is a description for each one of the techniques used by the senior author: the preparation, dissection plan, suspension mechanism, advantages, and disadvantages; at the end the main complications and discussion of the subject appear.
