Wideband Halo Antenna with Four Parasitic Elements

Abstract
- In this paper, a Halo antenna with four parasitic elements is proposed as a horizontally polarized wideband antenna. The characteristics of the proposed antenna are analyzed through simulation. The results demonstrate that the antenna offers a small diameter and wideband performance. The relative bandwidth of the antenna is 12.1%, respectively. In addition, its radiation patterns are omnidirectional.
