Abstract

The textbook Minimally Invasive Surgery and New Technology represents the published transactions of an international congress held in Luxembourg in September 1992. The meeting was organized by Felicien M. Steichen, MD, and Roger Welter, MD, who were also responsible for editing this book. The text is divided into 21 sections with 140 separate chapters. Several authors have described their experiences with diagnostic laparoscopy and biliary tract surgery, including various methods of treating the patients with complex choledocholithiasis.
