Study on Error-Correcting Using Output Level of Correlation Receivers and Hamming Codes in CDMA Communications

In the correlation receiver of CDMA communications, the higher output level gives fewer errors in bit decision than lower output level. In this paper, we propose a new error-correction/detection method using the output level and Hamming codes. Also, we combine the proposed method and our previous one. As a result, we clarify that the performance of the proposed error-correction methods are better than the previous one.
