Abstract

heterogeneous, chromosome 3 abnormalities involving non-3q26 loci (groups D and E) also conferred a worse prognosis compared with changes involving other chromosomes. Conclusion: The emergence of 3q26 rearrangements in CML is a sign of TKIs resistance and dismal prognosis. Investigational therapy should be explored to target this subtype of CML.
