D°, Λc photoproduction and lifetime measurement in the NA1 experiment

A measurement of the lifetime of D° mesons and Λ c baryons photoproduced coherently off a Germanium-Silicon target is presented. A sample of 58 D° decays gives a lifetime of (3.4 −0.5 +0.6 )10 −13 s. A signal of Λ c →ΔK ∗ →pkππ° has been observed. A sample of 8 Λ c decays gives a lifetime of (1.1 −0.4 +0.8 )10 −13 s.
