Research Reflections on SPOC Based Teaching Model and Practice in Chinese College English Education (2014-2020)

Abstract: This research takes a systematic investigation about recent publications on domestic SPOC based teaching models and practice in Chinese College English Education from 2014 to 2020. It discovers that the year of 2018 was supposed to be a turning point and the year of 2019 made both quantitative and qualitative changes. Plus, non-empirical studies have widened the gap with empirical researches since 2015. In addition, the research area showed a tendency of diversification, such as blended teaching, design of teaching mode, movable terminal, and learners’ factor.
