The core in development of low-carbon industry is low-carbon technology. Low-carbon technology refers to take the technological means for the realization of low-carbon economy Low-carbon technology development can safeguard for our response to climate change, adjusting the industrial structure and promoting social low-carbon development, and it is also the focus of China's 12th five-year plan. Hebei province should grasp this historic opportunity, use of its resources and technological advantages, to become low-carbon technology leader and create new competitiveness for the sustainable economic development.
