Abstract
- For the limiting case when the ratio of the characteristic wing dimension to the characteristic aileron dimension tends to infinity, an exact general solution to the problem of linear wing theory expressed in quadratures is obtained. Examples are given of calculations of the distribution of the pressure and the hinge moments for rectangular and trapeziform ailerons.
